The clay pottery tradition of Mexican culture is one of the oldest traditions that bridges the ancient pre-Hispanic Mesoamerican civilizations with the post-Columbian Mesoamerican civilizations and present-day Mexico. These unique clay pots are handmade by the ancient Pre-Columbian Purépecha artisans who were mostly women using primitive pottery and firing techniques.  The rustic aesthetic of our Mexican clay creations is enhanced by the presence Purépecha Indian women who utilized the clay to bring functionality for everyday living.
